Meadow Gifts FAQ's

One of the most common questions we get is, is it safe to buy over the internet?  In a word, YES!  Our entire website is 100% HTTPS encrypted, that is every page, not just the checkout.  Never buy from a website that doesn't start with HTTPS.

All financial transactions are encrypted by Stripe, the industry leader in online payments.  We never see your credit or debit card number so it can never fall into the wrong hands.

How Do I Order?

It's all very simple, you choose the item(s) you want, and enter the personalisation into the box as shown on the product page.  

On all of the products it now shows you an estimate for how long each item will take to make and if the item can be sent on a Same Day Dispatch or Next Day Delivery Service.

We have added new product filters to our category pages. This is so you can quickly and easily find the products you want, such as the Event, Type of Product, Suitable for Boys or Girls, Estimate for Dispatch and if it is available for Same Day Dispatch or Next Day Delivery.

The rest of the website is pretty standard, just enter your personalised message into the spaces provided on each product page, click the Add to Basket button and move through the checkout.

Once we have received your payment, within an hour or so we will process your order and forward it onto the factory or factories and they make the items for you.

To speed the delivery process up, they then send the item direct to you, and all within a few days of receiving your order.

We currently use four of the biggest companies in the business to make and personalise your orders so your orders are always in expert, experienced hands.

If you cannot get your order to work, email us the product code, your personalisation, your name, address, and which postage option you require (ie first or second class), and we will get your order on to our system. We will then email you a link back onto the website where you can check over your order and then make the payment through the our 100% secure website.

New for 2019 - By request, pay by Cheque, Postal Order or Bank Transfer.

What we require from you...

Firstly, read the description carefully, it sets out manufacturing times and details about the product, sizes and personalisation options. 

A common problem we often encounter is people personalise their gifts with spelling mistakes or incorrect dates. Please check these carefully before you place the order and check the email confirmation we send out.

Choose the appropriate postage option, if you need it in a couple of days, don't use Royal Mail 2nd class post!

We also often receive incorrect addresses, we check all of them against the Royal Mail postcode finder website but sometimes mistakes slip through and you can lose your order.

Also please make sure your email address is correct, we cannot contact you without this.

Always be polite and civil, just as we will be with you. If you have a problem, we will most likely be able to sort it out so please don't get angry, there really is no need.

What you can expect from us...

We will get your order processed within an hour or so during the working day, or first thing the following working day if you order in the evening. It will be made as fast as possible, and sent out using the postage option you requested at checkout.

The majority of our orders arrive safely, but if there is a problem just let us know and if we can, we will fix it straight away.

Spelling, Dates & Grammar

We make ordering personalised gifts easy at Meadow Gifts but there are a few things to remember.

It is vital that you check your spellings, your dates and your grammar as it can make the difference between a fantastic gift or a disappointment. You are responsible for making sure everything is correct, we try and spot any errors but if one slips through then I am afraid we will not be able to change the order once it has gone to the factory.

We use various fonts, some work well with capital letters, others do not.

We strongly advise you never to use all CAPITAL letters unless we say you can on the product description, it can make the item look messy and difficult to read. 

Please be aware that some fonts on some of the products will automatically change the personalisation to capitals or vice versa.

Please also note that we can only personalise the standard English alphabet, punctuation and numbers. Special characters and accents such as áéíóú will be ignored and printed as a standard character. Requesting these characters may delay your order.

Returns Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one.

You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it.

Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. You are responsible for postage costs for returning an item.

However all personalised and bespoke gifts are exempt from our returns policy, which simply means that you cannot return them for a refund or exchange if you change your mind.

Of course we will correct any errors that we may make or any damage that rarely occurs during delivery, we will be happy to replace these on a like for like basis.

Likewise, if an item is not delivered within 15 days after dispatch we will replace the item.
